PUEBLO — Colorado State Patrol have cited a man who caused a crash that had all lanes of I-25 closed for over two hours Tuesday morning.

Just before 10 a.m. Troopers from the Colorado State Patrol Troop 2D Trinidad office responded to a crash involving a commercial motor vehicle on I-25 near milepost 2.5.

Authorities say 52-year-old Justin Fiorino was hauling fence post logs and wood fire pellets from Raton, NM to Pueblo. He was traveling in the left lane of I-25 passing vehicles when he lost control of his 2015 Freightliner causing his load to shift.

Fiorino's vehicle collided with the cement center divider and began overturning. The vehicle's load spilled from the trailer into the southbound lanes. State Patrol says the vehicle and trailer overturned spilling the remainder of the load into the northbound lanes.

The semi and trailer came to rest blocking all lanes of northbound I-25. The spilled load also covered all lanes southbound.

Fiorino suffered minor injuries due to the crash. He was cited at the scene.
