COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Springs Fire Department is trying to figure out what caused a house fire on the city's south side to flare up twice Sunday morning.
Just before 3 a.m. crews were called out to a house fire at 1435 Brush Oak Drive, which is just north of Academy Blvd.
Firefighters were quickly able to get the fire under control. They finished searching the home for any residents when they saw smoke coming back up and they quickly called for a second alarm.
Colorado Springs Fire Department says no injuries have been reported.
The fire is now out and the cause of it is under investigation.
