BLACK FOREST — Two people are in the hospital, including one person was airlifted to a burn unit in Denver, after a house fire broke out early Christmas morning, according to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office.

Officials said the fire broke out around 3:45 a.m. Wednesday with four people in the home located off Bridle Bit Road.

The Black Forest Fire Rescue said the fire destroyed 75% of the home.

There were seven agencies working with multiple partner agencies on this house fire.
