PUEBLO WEST — Saddle up!
The 7th Annual Horses for Housing Community Trail Ride is happening this Saturday in Pueblo West.
It's a fundraiser to support local housing issues. The 2 1/2 hour ride starts at Katmando's General Store on McCulloch & Carrizo Springs and takes people out to Lake Pueblo and back.
Organizer Ammie Thomas said, "It helps people in need. It could be homeless, it could be elderly, it could be seniors, people of disasters like the fires."
Registration starts at 9 a.m. The cost is $25 per rider. You do need to have your own horse. The trail ride kicks off at 10 a.m.
