COLORADO — With the extended tax deadline of July 15th looming, an important service has started again in the Home of Heroes.
The Pueblo volunteer income tax assistance program is now accepting client to fill out their tax return.
The program was suspended in March because of COVID-19.
If your household makes less than $55,000, you qualify for the program.
"It is a really important program, so we are thrilled to be open up," said Shanna Farmer from United Way of Pueblo County. "Today was our first day that we were able to offer these services since the COVID-19 pandemic began."
This program will continue until July 6th.
