COLORADO SPRINGS — News5 is working with Mt. Carmel Service Center to help raise money for local veterans ahead of Veterans Day. On Tuesday, Nov. 10, we will continue to help raise money for veterans in southern Colorado with our own Rob Quirk hosting the Pledge for Patriots, a virtual telethon that will support the Mt. Carmel Veteran's Service Center.

Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center hosted its annual Hoedown for Heroes event Friday with News5 partnering with the nonprofit to help raise money to support our local veterans and their families.
