Harrison School District 2 to continue food service amid school closure for the year

COLORADO SPRINGS — According to a release, the Harrison School District Two will continue to provide meals to children under the age of 18, even though the school district in closed for in-person learning for the rest of the school year due to COVID-19.

Preschool families can stop by as well as a child does not need to be present.

Meals will be available at every school from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. expect at Harrison High School, Carmel Middle School, and Stratton Meadows Elementary School.

The distrct has added two meal pickup locations at the Chamberlin Education Center located at 2400 Slater Drive.

Harrison School District Two will be closed on Friday, April 24th and meals will not be available that day however, families may take home extra meals on Thursday, April 23rd.
