COLORADO SPRINGS — Harrison School District 2 is one of many school districts here in Southern Colorado that are moving to e-learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This move is happening immediately after Thanksgiving break, Nov. 30, through winter break Dec.17.

The District is providing student meals during these 14 e-learning days. A grab and go sack will be available from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on school days at the following schools:

  • Sierra High School
  • Fox Meadow Middle School
  • Pikes Peak Elementary
  • Centennial Elementary
  • Soaring Eagles Elementary
  • Sand Creek International
  • Stratton Meadows Elementary
  • Stratmoor Hills Elementary
  • Mountain Vista Community School
  • Bricker Elementary

Families must use the online order form found on the District website each day to be able to pick up a meal for their students.

The District will remain flexible with plans as they watch the current positivity rate in the community and wait for updates from El Paso County Health, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Colorado Governor, and local city and county officials.
