PUEBLO COUNTY — Thanks to the Facebook group, "We Stand Together for Graduation," some Pueblo D60 graduates are celebrating this weekend.

The group raised money from the community to host a ceremony for all four high schools in the district. The celebration was not sanctioned by D60, but Pueblo Health was on site and approved the event.

Graduates said they were not happy to be pat of the community celebration.

I feel like this is more sentimental than what an actual graduation ceremony would be, because this is put on by our community and our parents that love and support us more than the district, and the students that want to be here are here," Aja Jaquez said.

Since students got their diplomas at virtual ceremonies in May, they received a gift card and were entered to win prizes and when they walked across the stage Saturday.
