EL PASO COUNTY — A grass fire was burning in eastern El Paso County Sunday afternoon.
According the El Paso County Sheriff's Office anyone in the area one mile north of the Judge Orr/Soap Weed Road intersection was under a Mandatory Evacuation Notice due to the fire that was in the area of Soap Weed Rd.and Highway 110.
The fire was first reported around 4 p.m. and by approximately 5:30 p.m., the El Paso County Sheriff's Office said the fire was contained and all evacuations were lifted.
