DENVER — Colorado Governor Jared Polis is adding an aggressive milestone on his timeline toward100% renewable energy in Colorado by 2040. He just introduced the state's new "Greenhouse Gas Pollution Reduction Roadmap".
The just released plan gives details for reaching an 80% reduction of carbon emissions by 2030. "This is by far the most ambitious and expansive planning document that Colorado has ever produced on climate change," said Polis.
The nearly 170 page document explains what has to happen. The information is supported with data and graphics. It is available on-line for all to review.
