PUEBLO — A new landmark in Pueblo is nearly complete.
One of the statues has been put up for the Gateway to the Southwest project, which is located on the Dillon Dr. bridge over I-25.
The art piece is supposed to welcome in people and show off the culture of Pueblo.
Currently, ceramic pieces are being put together on the statue.
"So, I would say that my feeling more than pride is humble and having been selected to do this project makes me feel real good," said artist, Ken Williams.
