DENVER — Colorado Parks and Wildlife announced earlier this month that Fresh Air Friday is back.
What this means is that admission to all 41 Colorado state parks will be free on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving.
The agency said this has become an annual tradition to encourage "Coloradans to get out and give thanks."
CPW said there are several parks that have hikes planned for Fresh Air Friday:
- Ridgway
- Chatfield
- Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area
- Mueller
- Barr Lake
If you're not sure which park you'd like to visit or you'd like to check out a new one, you can visit CPW's state park map by clicking here.
The agency encourages people to visit "less-visited and off-peak destinations." Click here to read more about Fresh Air Friday and tips.
