FREMONT COUNTY — Fremont County Department of Public Health and Environment are reporting a second confirmed case of COVID-19, per a release.
The patient is a male in his 80s and is working with FCDPHE officials to identify people that he may have come in contact with.
Due to how bad the exposure of the coronavirus has been, the county has also set up a testing site at Harrison Middle School.
"This is huge, and seeing how far it spreads, supplies are we going to need eventually, keeping the spread down by making those recommendations so that people (will) say, 'Hey, you need to stay at home,'" said Fremont County Emergency Manager Mykel Kroll. "They then can be told to stay home, instead of guessing and wondering."
More than 50 people were tested for the virus on Monday, and the tests will give the county a better idea of how to move forward.
