FREMONT COUNTY — Fremont County is now allowing everyone to be tested for COVID-19.

The county's Department of Public Health and Environment is providing testing at the Health Department near Sixth St. and Macon on Mondays from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and Wednesdays from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.

"This makes it so we have a better idea to see how it has spread, if it has spread, if it hasn't, so we can take that worry away, so we can get people tested because that is what we had a big ask for," Fremont County Emergency Manager Mykel Kroll said.

The service is free but the Health Department asks that you make an appointment ahead of time.
