EL PASO COUNTY — Colorado State Patrol (CSP) is investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred Saturday night on I-25.
CSP said they responded to the crash just before 7:30 Saturday night. The crash happened at mile marker 132, three miles south of Colorado Springs.
According to State Patrol, it was determined that the vehicle was heading northbound and merging on I-25 when the crash happened. The driver swerved and went off the right side of the highway. The vehicle rolled three times before it came to rest.
The driver of the vehicle has been identified as 27-year-old Jacqueline Ryder of Fountain. State Patrol said she was transported to Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. She was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash.
At this time, alcohol, drugs, and speed are not considered factors in the crash, according to State Patrol.
The crash remains under investigation.
