EL PASO COUNTY — Early Wednesday morning, the Fountain Fire Dept. responded to the 8700 block of Link Road on a structure fire.
The structure was a new home under construction and the fire was quickly extinguished. There was however significant damage to the basement of the home, Fountain Police said.
The investigation determined the fire was suspicious.
Detectives were able to identify two suspects. 18-year-old Baaron Pittenger and 18-year-old Braeden Kennedy were both arrested on Wed. on charges of 1st Degree Arson and felony Criminal Mischief.
