On Friday, 200 personnel from the 627th Hospital Center from Ft. Carson Base were deployed to Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington in support of FEMA and their medical efforts in the Seattle area.
The hospital center has the ability to provide up to 248 beds for COVID-19 effected patients. There mission is to help take the load off of the state's health care system.
