EL PASO COUNTY — A former Fort Carson soldier, who is accused of killing a fellow soldier in November 2018 after finding him with his wife, will be in court on Tuesday.

According to an arrest affidavit obtained by News 5, police said Isaiah Towns believed his wife was having an affair with the father of her child.

On November 17 Towns returned home in the Stratus Apartment complex and found his wife mostly naked and 23-year-old Specialist Shakir Cook-Troynel hiding in a closet.
