COLORADO SPRINGS — Fire training exercises will take place Friday morning at the Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station fire training center.
Anyone traveling the I-25 and Highway 115 corridors or who live nearby should not be alarmed if they see smoke or fire from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The base fire training center is southwest of Highway 115 and South Academy Boulevard.
AFS fire department is conducting these exercises to make sure emergency responders are prepared to handle any emergency situation.
