COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado Springs firefighters responded to a small fire inside the property of Otter Self Storage on Oro Blanco Rd. in Colorado Springs late Friday.

The fire was under control rather quickly, although crews did ask an investigator to take a closer look at the cause.

CSFD confirms two patients were taken to the hospital to be treated for burn injuries. One person suffered serious burns, according to the Battalion Chief on site.

There is no information yet on a potential cause. While the fire did not damage the building, the living unit on site is uninhabitable due to the damage.
