COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado Springs firefighters are currently on scene of a fire at Carrabbas Italian Grill off of Woodmen Road.
Everyone inside the restaurant was able to evacuate safely after the fire started in the kitchen.
The call first came in before 10 a.m. from the business on Campus Drive just north of Woodmen Road east of I-25.
Crews have the fire under control as of 10:40 a.m. There does not appear to be significant damage to the structure. The extent of the damage inside is not known.
Smoke from the fire was visible across northern Colorado Springs.
