GREEN MOUNTAIN FALLS — Fire crews worked to put out a house fire at 6860 Howard Street in Green Mountain Falls. The blaze broke out just before noon and smoke could be seen on Highway 24.
No one was in the home was home and it's reportedly used as a summer home for someone living out of state.
The home sustained serious damage and may end up being a total loss.
The cause of the fire is being investigated currently.
Strong winds likely contributed to the severity of the fire. Crews were assisted by other agencies.
