PUEBLO COUNTY — A fire ignited Saturday in the county, southwest of Pueblo.
The fire, dubbed the Vaughn View Fire, ignited in an area near Siloam and Vaughn View. Crews attacked the fire from both the ground and the air Saturday afternoon.
Around 3 p.m. the fire had grown to approximately nine acres.
According to the Beulah Fire Protection and Ambulance District, crews had 90 percent containment on the blaze by 9:30 p.m. Saturday night.
Crews stayed on scene overnight and continued operation Sunday morning.
