EL PASO COUNTY — A fatal crash closed Highway 83 east of Colorado Springs Tuesday afternoon.
According to Colorado State Patrol, the three-car accident happened just before noon and closed both directions of the highway.
One person died at the scene and another was transported to an area hospital. A third individual was uninjured.
