COLORADO SPRINGS — A staple of the Colorado Springs restaurant scene has become the latest victim of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fargo's Pizza announced Monday that they are, at least temporarily, closing their doors.

In notes taped on their doors and on Facebook, the restaurant said "it is with a heavy heart that we have to announce a (hopefully) temporary closure of Fargo’s Pizza. Thank you all for your wonderful support.

Famous for its 1800's theme, Fargo's Pizza first opened on East Platte Ave. in 1973.
