COLORADO SPRINGS - The man, who was wanted on multiple outstanding warrants, is now back in custody.
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office said 28-year-old Nathaniel Buchmann was captured by the Fugitive Task Force at the Citadel Mall Tuesday. Buchmann escaped from El Paso County Deputies after being arrested for possessing a stolen trailer. Buchmann no faces new charges related to his escape.
On Monday authorities couldn't find Buchmann after a lengthy search in a Security-Widefield neighborhood. Deputies said he was last seen in the area of Cortez Drive and Frontier Drive. People living in that area were asked to stay inside and lock their doors earlier Monday morning, but deputies have since lifted that order.
