EL PASO COUNTY — A Deputy Sheriff with El Paso County Sheriff's Office was arrested Thursday night on felony charges, according to a release.
The sheriff's office said 50-year-old Robert Easter was charged with second-degree assault, related to domestic violence.
The Colorado Springs Police Department was the arresting agency, while Easter is currently booked in the El Paso County Jail.
Easter has been employed with the sheriff's office since February 8, 2016, and is assigned to the Court and Transport Section.
He will be placed on administrative leave in accordance with policy.
