COLORADO SPRINGS — This Saturday museums nationwide are joining the Smithsonian to celebrate Museum Day by offering free admission.
That includes 31 museums across Colorado.
Those who want to participate can download one ticket per email address. Print the ticket and take it to the participating museum of your choice.
Colorado Springs museums that are offering free admission are: The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College, John May Museum Center, the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame and Museum of the American Cowboy, and the Western Museum of Mining & Industry.
Other museums in Southern Colorado that are participating are:
- El Pueblo History Museum
- Museum of Colorado Prisons in Canon City
- San Luis Valley Museum in Alamosa
- Trinidad History Museum
- Victor Lowell Thomas Museum in Victor
