CANON CITY — Deputies found a woman's body in the Arkansas River near Cañon City Tuesday, according to the Fremont County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities responded to reports of a possible body in the river and upon further investigation, the body was identified as 21-year-old Emily Bruner. According to the release, the sheriff's office is investigating the death as a drowning.
