COLORADO SPRINGS — Starting this weekend you can grab a pint of pink beer for a good cause.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Peaks N Pines Brewery will tap over 300 gallons of pink beer.

Money raised from sales of the beer, a Raspberry Kolsch, benefit the Circle of Hope fund at UCHealth Memorial Hospital.

Circle of Hope helps women going through breast cancer treatment cover every day costs, like gas, groceries, rent, and utilities.

"And over the past year this fund has helped 104 people with these type of pieces that help them get through to the next day," said Karen Valentine, UCHealth's manager of Oncology Supportive Services.

The beer will be available at the Peaks N Pines locations in Colorado Springs and in Fountain through October, or until it runs out.
