COLORADO SPRINGS — District 49 officials announced Thursday that e-learning would continue through the end of the school year.
The district said this decision came after "reviewing guidance and projections from health and government agencies."
School officials said this does not mean in-person interaction will be permanently banned, but they could not rely on continuing education in-person.
With this decision, District 49 said there have been questions about graduation ceremonies. They said there will no longer be a plan to host large, arena-style ceremonies.
To help listen to suggestions from parents, the district set up a site for those to submit their ideas for ceremonies. Click here to view the site. They said they will review the ideas for one week before making a decision.
