The El Paso County Sheriff's Office has released the names of the deputies involved in a shooting Sunday in Monument that left one man dead.
Deputy Ryan Gonzales and Deputy Chad Wheat were both placed on administrative leave following the incident.
Gonzales has been with the Sheriff's Office since 2007, and Wheat since 2012. Both are and is assigned to the Patrol Division with secondary assignments to the SWAT Team.
