COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to a residence on the southwest side of the city Tuesday afternoon after a delivery truck crashed into a building and hit a gas meter.
CSFD said heavy rescue was called in to assist with shoring up the building due to the damage.
Seven townhouses in the vicinity were evacuated but there were no injuries reported.
Crews capped the gas line but two homes had to be aired out due to gas inside.
