COLORADO SPRINGS — UPDATE: The Colorado Springs Police Department announced Wednesday morning 11-year-old Joseph Seager has been found safe.

PREVIOUS: The Colorado Springs Police Department is searching for a missing endangered 11-year-old boy who was last seen near Quail Lake.
Officers said the mother of 11-year-old Joseph Seager told police Tuesday he ran from her home off Quail Lake Road and took some clothes with him. The department said an extensive search was conducted for Joseph, but they were unable to find him.
He is described as being 5'1 tall, weighing 90 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, dark gray basketball shorts, black Nike high tops and a blue Vans backpack that has white and gold stars on it.
