CSPD looking for suspects who stole scooter from at-risk adult

COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Springs Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify two suspects involved in the theft of a scooter.

According to CSPD, the two men seen above were caught on security camera stealing a motorized scooter that was parked outside a 7-11 while the scooter's owner was inside shopping.

CSPD said the scooter's owner is an at-risk adult.

The theft occurred on July 21, 2019 around 7:30 a.m. at the 7-11 located at 1801 E. Platte Ave.

CSPD said that over the past few week detectives have investigating every possible lead and they are now turning to the public for help.

According to the department, one suspect is believed to be a white or Hispanic man in his early 20s with bushy brown hair and a thin beard. The other suspect is believed to be a Hispanic man also in his early 20s with short, dark brown hair.
