COLORADO SPRINGS — Southbound Nevada Ave. was closed between Las Vegas St. and I-25 Wednesday night as Colorado Springs Police investigated an auto-pedestrian accident.
CSPD said the unidentified pedestrian was crossing South Nevada just after 5 p.m. when he was struck by a southbound vehicle.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
The accident is still under investigation. Police said speed and alcohol are not factors in the accident.
