CSPD identifies victims of shooting on Colorado Springs' school grounds

COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Springs Police Department has identified the victims involved in the June 29th shooting at Jack Swigert Aerospace Academy in Colorado Springs.

The shooting took place on an athletic field at the school.

According to CSPD, the victim who died at the scene has been identified as 18-year-old Kevin Santana-Villa, of Colorado Springs. The victim who died at an area hospital has been identified as 22-year-old Diego Cruz-Aceves, of Colorado Springs.

CSPD said the department is actively investigating the incident as a homicide.
