Police still seeking information on Randy Bishop, wanted for attempted murder of a police officer

COLORADO SPRINGS — UPDATE: January 26

Colorado Springs Police have announced Randy Bishop is in custody.

Colorado Springs Police confirmed Thursday afternoon a search in the area of North Circle Drive and East Uintah Street was for Randy Bishop, who was recently seen in the area.

Bishop, 35, is wanted on multiple charges, including attempted murder of a police officer.

CSPD says so far Bishop has not been located. Anyone with information is asked to contact CSPD at 719-444-7000.

There is a $10,000 reward being offered to anyone who gives information leading to Bishop's arrest.

PREVIOUS: The Colorado Springs Police Department is in the area of North Circle Drive and East Uintah Street searching for a wanted person.

Anyone in the area is asked to stay indoors and lock both windows and doors.

CSPD asks the community to stay out of the area until an update is provided.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6'0" tall, 160 pounds and is wearing a black jacket with a hood, green work pants and possibly a beanie cap.
