COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to a house fire on the west of the city Wednesday afternoon.
The house was located at 1312 Hamstead Ct., just south of Garden of the Gods Road.
According to CSFD, the fire started in the home and spread to the roof. The two residents inside made it out safely with their dogs.
The residents will be temporarily displaced as the roof sustained significant damage.
There is no word on the cause of the fire at this time.
