COLORADO SPRINGS — Crime Stoppers is looking to increase its outreach in the Pikes Peak Region.

Friday, the organization's board announced a new support program aimed at getting area businesses to contribute tips and information.

The program asks businesses to donate $50 for the year and in return, Crime Stoppers will provide a decal that can be placed in a visible area to let people know they are part of the program.

"So our hope and our goal is that we have this logo across the city on businesses and on storefronts. By placing that on the business storefront, it allows us to raise awareness of our program," Chairman Don Addy said.
