COLORADO SPRINGS — Multiple agencies responded to two crashes near Platte Avenue and Wooten Road that caused delays in the area.
Emergency crews needed to extract one person in a crash on Wooten Road, according to the Colorado Springs Fire Department.
A News5 crew on scene said there will be delays in the area for a couple of hours. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
The crash had both directions of Wooten Road closed at Platte Avenue. It was cleared around 10:15 a.m.

CSFD said two people were taken to the hospital to be treated.
The first accident had westbound lanes of Platte Avenue east of Wooten Road blocked, but there were no injuries reported.
