TRINIDAD — The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a crash on southbound I-25, just south of Trinidad by the Colorado/New Mexico border.

On Monday around 10:20 a.m., troopers were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash that left one person dead.

CSP said 65-year-old James M. Trujillo of Trinidad was outside of this vehicle when he was struck and killed by a southbound vehicle.

That car was being driven by 47-year-old Kevin Williams of Johnstown.

CSP says this is an ongoing investigation as this article will be updates as more information becomes available.
