COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado Springs Utilities has closed part of a road by the Colorado Springs Airport to repair a major water main break Thursday and possibly through Friday.
The utility company said the water main break was first reported at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Crews responded and closed Chelton Road between Astrozon Boulevard and Barkman Circle. This area will be closed "all day Thursday and into Friday," according to CSU.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area as crews work to repair the water main break.
