COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Springs Police Department is searching for a box van driver who fled after hitting a car which then hit another car on southbound I-25 near Bijou Street, causing it to rollover Tuesday night.
Police said the white box van hit a Hyundai SUV around 6 p.m. south of the Bijou exit on I-25. The SUV then hit the side of a Jeep due to the impact, which caused the Jeep to rollover.
The Jeep stopped upside down in the center lane of southbound I-25, according to CSPD.
Soon after, officers said the box van driver used the Cimarron exit and left the crash scene.
No one was injured in the crash.
