COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Springs Police Department's impound facility will be closed for one weekdue to a COVID-19 outbreak.

The facility closed Thursday and will reopen Thursday, Nov. 19, as the facility is sanitized and employees are quarantined, according to the department. During the closure, there will not be any additional storage charges.

Cars that are impounded may take a few days to appear on the department's website "due to delays in data entry." If you want to find out if your car was towed, you can call (719) 444-7000 if you cannot find it on the website.

If you have any additional urgent questions, the department is asking you contact the impound at impoundfacility@coloradosprings.gov
