COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado Springs residents now have a new tool to let the city know what's going on in their neighborhoods.

The city has launched a new app that can be used to report complaints, needed repairs, and to ask for help with various issues.

The city said they rely on residents to report things like potholes, traffic light outages, and vandalism.

In the app, you can connect directly to the city and hopefully get issued fixed much more quickly.

"We can rout the request to the right people, hopefully the first time, rather than have it go to somebody who has to know how things work and they distribute tickets to the right people," said Jacob Anderson.

The app is free to everyone and can be found in both the Apple and Android app stores by searching for "GoCOS."
