COLORADO SPRINGS — A mainstay for dog lovers in Colorado Springs is expanding.
Kennels that are southeast of Woodmen Rd. and I-25 have been Everything Dogs for over 30 years.
Under the Sun Dog Training is building a new show arena and a training center. It will host shows, offer expanded and specialized programs, and draw people to the area. But, why now during the COVID-19 pandemic?
"It's just the way things kind of lined up. However, I'm not gonna let this stop us from doing our dream. We are breaking ground. We're probably not going to be opening the doors until June 2021," said founder and training director Colton Johnson.
In addition to the new features, the kennels will continue to provide their regular services.
