COLORADO SPRINGS — A man is critically injured following a structure fire near Prospect Lake, according to the Colorado Springs Fire Department.
Units responded just before 9 a.m. to reports of a fire in the 600 block of South Union Boulevard with a burn victim.

A News5 crew on scene said Union Boulevard is closed between Prospect Lake Drive and Fountain Boulevard to allow room for firefighter response.
The fire damaged the outside of the building but did not get inside. The department told News5 a man was injured and had second and third-degree burns as a result of the fire.
There is no word yet on the cause of the fire at this time, but we are working to learn more.
