A local anesthesiologist once charged with three counts of fraud and deceit is now on probation for possession of a controlled substance.
Agnes Flaum plead guilty to felony class 4 possession of a controlled substance in September 2019. All other charges against her were dismissed by prosecutors as part of a plea deal.
As a result of her conviction for the possession of less than 4 grams of Percocet, Flaum was given 18 months of supervised probation and 48 hours of community service. She entered an agreement with the Colorado Medical Board to stop practicing medicine back in February.
Flaum has no prior felony convictions, including drug felonies. Once her probation term is successfully completed the court will vacate the felony conviction and enter a conviction for a level 1 misdemeanor drug offense.
